As part of our effort to increase community awareness and enjoyment of the garden and also secure the land for future enjoyment, we will be hanging out at a special Sloan Street Community Garden table at the farmer’s market this Saturday, meeting you all and raising funds for the garden. We have chicobags for sale as part of our fundraiser – they are wonderfully colorful and durable shopping bags that fit in a small pouch no larger than your palm and can replace hundreds of single-use plastic grocery bags.
